Seva Project: Curbs, Coffee & More!

"Seva" is a Sanskrit word meaning "selfless service" or work performed without any thought of reward or repayment. In ancient India Seva was believed to help one's spiritual growth and at the same time contribute to the improvement of a community. Twice, yearly, Metta Yoga hosts a community service project at the site of studio. Our staff is in the midst of planning efforts, and we look forward to sharing more about this upcoming event. Stay tuned for more details about a possible public art project, light landscaping and much more!

Workshop: Kundalini Yoga for the Heart + Gong Relaxation

Kundalini Yoga, by definition, is a yoga practice that includes kriyas, pranayama, chanting of mantras, and ultimately, meditation. An uplifting combination of spiritual and physical practices, the purpose is to build physical vitality and increase consciousness.

Join our special guest Hari Datti Kaur (Diane Hancock) as we welcome her to Metta Yoga for this special workshop!

Kundalini Yoga for the Heart + Gong Relaxation is designed to open the energy of Anahata: the Heart Center. Experience physical practices and meditations for heart opening, which increase capacity for compassion, forgiveness, unconditional love and self-acceptance. Meditations work on blood pressure, physical heart health and the immune system. Suitable for all levels, modifications provided. Yogis will be treated to an extended symphonic Gong Relaxation, as well.
