Seva Community Service Project: Planters, Painting & More!
"Seva" is a Sanskrit word meaning "selfless service" or work performed without any thought of reward or repayment. In ancient India Seva was believed to help one's spiritual growth and at the same time contribute to the improvement of a community.
Twice, yearly, Metta Yoga hosts a community service project at the site of studio. Join Metta Yoga staff, students and stakeholders and volunteer for the next project (Planters, Painting & More!) scheduled as part of Earth Day, Sunday, April 22, 9 - 10:30 am! All volunteers will be treated to complimentary coffee as we split into teams to plant our planters, complete artistic and maintenance painting and do some light gardening on the Clifford Corners campus - home of Metta Yoga's Near Eastside studio. All volunteers will receive a pass good for one (1) complimentary class (three choices will be given) or 20% off a five-class pass valid March April 22 - May 22, 2018.
Be sure to register to help us plan for supplies and coffee!
